At the request of Jockey P. Trevor (METZINGER), the girth and the surcingle were checked. Considering that the said equipment did not have any further scope to be tightened, as such, the said equipment was replaced by the Club’s gear. Trainer Hosidar Daji has been severely reprimanded for the future.
 
LION KING (Amyn Merchant, dr.11) refused to be stalled, despite substantial efforts. As such, the gelding was withdrawn, before coming under the Starters order. Trainer Shazaan Shah has been asked to give his charge more gate practice and show the gelding to the satisfaction of the starter at morning starting trials, before the next accepting to race.
 
PHENOM (N. S. Parmar) lost about 4 lengths at the start. Trainer M. K. Jadav has been asked to give his charge more gate practice and show the gelding to the satisfaction of the Starter at the morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.
 
After the race, Jockey N. S. Parmar (PHENOM) reported that his mount hung-in in the straight and in his efforts to correct the gelding his reins slipped momentarily in the final stages of the race. Trainer M. K. Jadhav has been asked to take remedial measures, before next accepting to race.
 
Jockey R. Ajinkya (NOLAN) was observed to have used the whip in excess of the prescribed limit on his mount. This being his 1st offence during the current Mumbai Meeting 2023/24, he has been fined Rs.3,000/-.
 
After the race, ALOYSIA and MIGHTY THUNDER were trotted and found to be sound.
