Racing Incidents

PYRITE (K. Nazil, dr.3) refused to be stalled despite substantial efforts, as such, the filly was withdrawn before coming under the Starter’s order. Trainer S. Waheed has been asked to give his charge more gate practice and show the filly to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.
 
At the start, FIORENTINI (P. S. Chouhan, dr.1) jumped outwards onto FLASHMAN (S. Saqlain, dr.2) who had to be steadied.
 
Approaching the 200 metres, it was observed that FLASHMAN (S. Saqlain) shied away from FIELD OF DREAMS (N. S. Parmar) and FIORENTINI (P. S. Chouhan) thereby losing its footing momentarily.
 
After the race, Jockey N. S. Parmar (FIELD OF DREAMS) reported that his mount was hanging-in in the straight, despite his efforts. Trainer Dallas Todywalla has been asked to take remedial measures, before next accepting to race.
 
After the race, Jockey P. S. Chouhan (FIORENTINI) reported that his mount was inclined outwards throughout the race.
 
After the race, FIORENTINI was trotted and found to be sound.
