Racing Incidents

Tr. Bezan Chenoy informed that his charge CELESTINA was under medication and had requested to withdraw the filly from the race. As such, he was permitted to withdraw his charge and is fined Rs.15,000/- for his lapse. Further, in accordance with the Calendar Notification the sample has been collected for analysis.
 
At the request of Trainer Karthik Ganapathy, SACHIKO was examined by the Club’s Sr. V.O. in the stable area at 6.00 p.m. on 18th January, 2024 and was found to be sore by right fore, as such, the filly was certified unfit to race and was permitted to be withdrawn on Veterinary grounds and has to be passed fit by Club’s V.O., before next accepting to race.
 
ALARICUS (App. Mustakim Alam, dr.9) jumped out slowly losing about two lengths at the start.
 
After the race, Jockey Y. S. Srinath (WINDBORNE) reported loss of whip approaching the 200 metres. This being his first instance during the current Mumbai Meeting 2023/24, no action has been initiated.
 
After the race, FAST APPROACH was found to have a wolf tooth. Trainer Sanjay Kolse has been asked to take remedial measures.
 
After the race, MEMPHIS was found to have an injury on right hind pastern.
