At the request of Trainer M. Narredu, HOOVES OF THUNDER was examined by the Club’s Sr. V.O. in the stable area at 11.00 a.m. on 11th February, 2024 and was found to have painful elbow at right fore, as such, the gelding was certified unfit to race and was permitted to be withdrawn on Veterinary grounds and has to be passed fit by Club’s V.O., before next accepting to race.
 
MADRAS CHEQUE (H. M. Akshay, dr.9) ducked after being stalled and in the process the right stirrup broke, as such, the filly was withdrawn before coming under the Starter’s order. Trainer Adhirajsingh Jodha has been asked to give his charge more gate practice and show the filly to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.
 
BIG RED (App. Mustakim Alam, dr.7) lost about 2 lengths at the start.
 
BALENCIAGA (App. Haridas Gore, dr.1) planted in the stall thereby losing considerable ground at the start. Trainer Dallas Todywalla has been asked to give his charge more gate practice and show the mare to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.
 
After the race, Jockey M. S. Deora (GIMME) reported that his mount was inclined outwards in the straight, despite his efforts. Trainer S. S. Shah has been asked to take remedial measures, before next accepting to race.
 
After the race, BALENCIAGA, BIG RED & GIMME were trotted and found to be sound but BIG RED was found to have an injury on right upper eye lead.
