Racing Incidents

Trainer Subhag Singh has been fined Rs.3,000/- for putting in late declaration in respect of his charge GOOMAH.
 
At the request of Trainer M. Narredu, LORD FENICIA was examined at 11.45 a.m. on 16th February 2024 by the Club’s Sr. V.O. at the stables and was found to have colic, as such, the horse was certified unfit to race and was permitted to be withdrawn on Veterinary grounds.
 
GALLOPING AHEAD (N. S. Parmar, dr.6) planted, thereby losing considerable ground at the start. Trainer Aman Altaf Hussain has been asked to give his charge more gate practice and show the gelding to the satisfaction of the Starter at morning starting trials, before next accepting to race.
 
At the start, ATTAINED (P. Shinde, dr.9) jumped outwards thereby carrying GOOMAH (J. Chinoy, dr.10) outwards causing both the horses to be steadied.
 
Passing the 150 metres, NAIROBI (App. M. S. Deora) shifted out under use of whip thereby tightening, inconveniencing and carrying SENTINEL (R. Ajinkya) outwards. After questioning and not being satisfied, Jockey M. S. Deora has been suspended for 1 race day i.e. on 10th March 2024 (permitted to ride work/mock race), for careless riding.
