Racing Incidents
Jockey Shobhan Babu, the rider of THE ASSASSIN was fined Rs.2,000/- for not persevering with his mount during the race. Jockey K. Narasimha, the rider of MIGHTY FINE, was questioned regarding the riding of his mount in the above race. He stated that his mount was hanging `in` throughout the race. The horse was impounded for ve- terinary examination. On examination it was found to have sharp (upper) molars on both the jaw and wolf tooth on both the jaws and eruption in incisors which caused bleeding. The Stipendiary Stewards therefore reported trainer Mr. R.V. Manohar to the Stewards for his negligence in presenting his charge MIGHTY FINE in such a condition. The Stewards held an enquiry after t
