Racing Incidents
Jockey S. Babu, the rider of ASIATIC BOY, reported that his mount was inclined to run out throughout the race. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination. The Veterinary Officer after examination reported that it was found to have sharp molars on both sides of the jaws. Trainer Mr. Karan Singh was informed to get checked by his Veterinarian and take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again. UNIQUE DIAMOND (K. Narasimha) ran detached from the field. Trainer Mr. R.V. Manohar was advised to ensure better performance of his charge in future. Jockey B. Prakash, the rider of NOBLE KINGDOM, was fined Rs.1,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (1st infringement).
