Racing Incidents
Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Samar Singh to withdraw ALEXANDER THE GREAT (Sk. Sharookh) on veterinary grounds as it was lame on left fore due to inflamed cannon. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club`s Ve- terinary Officer before accepting with it again. Jockey R. Umesh, the rider of STORM COMMAND, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting `in` and causing interference to JAAN BAAZ, on his inside approaching the 800 Metres. After the race the Club`s Veterinary Officer reported that on examination MONEY MANTRA (S. Selvaraj) had apparently lost its left hind shoe during the race. Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner ch g CUTE STYLE.
