Racing Incidents
Jockey S. Chandrashekar, the rider of RED KEY POINT reported that the rubber bit on his mount snapped soon after the start and as such he had to ride without the aid of the equipment and could not offer any assis-tance to his mount throughout the race. After due examination of the equipment after the race, trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar was fined Rs.2,000/- for using an unserviceable equipment. Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of ANGELIQUE, reported that he lost his right reins momentarily approaching the 400 Metres which he regained within a few strides.
