As Jockey Irvan Singh was certified medically unfit to ride, permission was granted to trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar to substitute Jockey N. Ramesh Kumar to ride ALLEGRO in place of the declared rider.

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. S.S. Attaollahi to substitute Jockey Ryan Marshall to ride CASTRO in place of the declared rider.

As Jockey Imran Chisty could not arrive to fulfill his riding engagement, permission was granted to trainer Mr. S. Ganapathy to substitute Jockey M.A. Gallagher to ride FREE STYLER in place of the declared rider.

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. L. D'Silva to withdraw BLOODY MARY (A. Imran Khan) on veterinary grounds as it was found to have bleeding cut injury on right ear. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

 

It was reported after the race that HILLSTONE (Suraj Narredu) burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. Irfan Ghatala was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

HILLSTONE (Suraj Narredu) sustained a cut injury on left hind tendon.

BID FOR GLORY (Valdir De Sousa) sustained a bleeding cut injury on right stifle.

At the behest of the Stipendiary Stewards, the Stewards held an enquiry immediately after the race and enquired into the interference caused by Jockey N. Ganesh, the rider of SUNDAY STORM to PRONTO STAR (Y.S. Srinath) on his outside which passed it on to HOCKENHEIM (P.S. Chouhan) on the far side passing the 1200 Metres and again for shifting out and causing interference to PRONTO STAR (Y.S. Srinath) on his outside approaching the 1000 Metres. The Stewards examined Jockeys Y.S. Srinath, P.S. Chouhan and N. Ganesh. After deliberations, they decided to not alter the placings as declared by the Judge. Subsequently Jockey N. Ganesh, the rider of SUNDAY STORM was fined Rs.3,000/- for causing the above referred interference.
