Jockey Neeraj Rawal, the rider of HOT STUFF, was fined Rs.2,000/- for arriving at the weighing room not properly attired.

Jockey M. Prabhakaran, the rider of CLAARA, was reprimanded for shifting in and inconveniencing the horses on his inside viz. POLE POSITION ( M. Ravi) and POWERGRID (S. Mallikarjun) approaching the 1200 Metres.

Trainer Mr. G. Nityanand and Jockey N. Rajesh were questioned regarding the running and riding of ROYAL MUSIC in the above race. The trainer stated that (a) he had instructed the rider to be in a mid bunch, pull it out after rounding the bend and ride out in the straight; (b) as per his observation the rider when tried to make a move on the outside while rounding the final bend got a small opening only for a couple of strides and thereafter he was pocketed and could not bring his horse out; (c) he had to ride behind the other runners on the inside; (d) in his opinion the luck of the race did not favour his charge; and (e) under these circumstances he would accept the performance of his rider. The rider when questioned corroborated the statement of the trainer pertaining to the manner in which his mount was positioned and ridden during the race and added that he did his best under the existing circumstances. Their explanations were noted.
