Jockey Ryan Marshall, the rider of GRAND SUCCESS, reported that his mount grabbed its bit towards the right and bolted and that he had considerable difficulty in keeping his mount on an even course till about the 1000 Metres. Trainer Mr. Darius Byramji was informed to take appropriate remedial measures before accepting with it again.

Jockey S. Shiva Kumar, the rider of LITTLE BOY BLUE, reported that his mount suddenly veered out approaching the 1800 Metres. Trainer Mr. Hidayat Khan was informed to take appropriate remedial measures before accepting with it again.

Jockey Y.S. Srinath, the rider of SUNDAY STORM, reported that his mount was hanging out throughout the race. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and no abnormality was reported. However trainer Mr. S. Padmanabhan was informed to take appropriate remedial measures before accepting with it again.

The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey D.K. Ashish, the rider of SAGANAKI to the Stewards for contravention of the Calendar Notification under the heading "Use of Whip" on his mount SAGANAKI (3rd infringement) in the above race. The Stewards held an enquiry after the last race and examined Jockey D.K. Ashish. After deliberations, they decided to suspend the Jockey's licence granted to Jockey D.K. Ashish from 21-8-2011 to 26-8-2011 (both days inclusive) for contravention of the Calendar Notification under the heading "Use of Whip" on his mount SAGANAKI (3rd infringement) in the above race (permitted to ride work).
