Racing Incidents

As Jockey S. Mallikarjun was certified medically unfit to ride, permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar to substitute Jockey Md. Ghouse to ride ATLAS POWER in place of the declared rider.

Jockey R. Anand, the rider of MOUNTAIN OF JOY, was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting out and causing interference to LOVEATFIRSTSIGHT (Y.S. Srinath) on the outside soon after jumping out of the starting gates.

Jockey S. John, the rider of FLYING SNOW, was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to NO DOUBT (Fr'co F DaSilva) on his inside approaching the 1200 Metres.

Jockey Md. Ghouse, the rider of ATLAS POWER, reported that his mount accidentally brushed the false rails approaching the 1000 Metres.

It was reported after the race that FLYING SNOW (S. John) pulled up lame on left due to sprained suspensory ligament. Trainer Mr. Arjun Mangalorkar was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Clubs Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
