Trainer Mr. Amit Caddy was fined Rs.2,000/- for making an error in the starting declaration in respect of his charge SICILY (Tauseef Ahmed) as regards rider.

Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Sharat Kumar to withdraw GORGEOUS GOLD on veterinary ground as it was found to be walking lame on left fore due to sprained knee. He was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

It was reported after the race that ADALWIN (Neeraj Rawal) pulled up lame on right hind. Trainer Mr. Darius R Byramji was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

ADALWIN (Neeraj Rawal) sustained a cut injury on left hind fetlock.

ROYAL SPIRIT (R Vaideeshwaran) sustained a cut injury on right nostril.

The Stipendiary Stewards reported Trainer Mr. B. Puttanna to the Stewards for contravention of Calendar Notification under the heading "saddling of horses" read with Rule No.114(b)(i) of the BTC Rules of Racing in respect of his charge ROYAL SPIRIT (R. Vaideeshwaran) in that the saddle on his charge completely shifted over the withers awkwardly passing the 800 Metres whereby the rider totally lost control over his mount and got unbalanced and dismounted before the winning post. The Stewards held an enquiry after the last race and examined Trainer Mr. B. Puttanna. After deliberations, they decided to fine him a sum of Rs.10,000/- for contravention of Calendar Notification under the heading "saddling of horses" read with Rule No.114(b)(i) of the BTC Rules of Racing in respect of his charge ROYAL SPIRIT (R. Vaideeshwaran) in the above race.

The Stipendiary Stewards reported Jockey Valdir DeSousa, the rider of IBELIEVEINMIRACLES to the Stewards for contravention of Rule Nos.161(i) and 101(i) of the BTC Rules of Racing in that he rode in a foul manner and indulged in misconduct, in deliberately hitting Jockey R. Vaideeshwaran, the rider of ROYAL SPIRIT on his inside passing the 500 Metres. The Stewards held an enquiry after the last race and examined Spokesman Trainer Mr. Amit Caddy for Jockey Valdir DeSousa and Jockey Valdir DeSousa himself. After deliberations, the Stewards decided to withdraw the Jockey's licence granted to Jockey Valdir DeSousa from 16-8-2012 to 15-11-2012 (both days inclusive) and fine him a sum of Rs.25,000/- for contravention of Rule Nos.161(i) and 101(i) of the BTC Rules of Racing (not permitted to ride work) on his mount IBELIEVEINMIRACLES in the above race.
