As Jockey Vivek, the declared rider of MIDTOWN DELIGHT, was certified medically unfit to ride after his fall in the 7th race. Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. M.P. Mahaesh to substitute Jockey S. Shiva Kumar to ride MIDTOWN DELIGHT in place of Jockey Vivek, the declared rider.

Jockey Irvan Singh, the rider of ISLE OF FIRE, was fined Rs.1,000/- for coming in and causing interference to FIRE STORM (Arshad Alam) on his inside which in turn passed it onto PRINCE OF DARKNESS (M. Prabhakaran) approaching the 1000 Metres.

Jockey S Shiva Kumar, the rider of MIDTOWN DELIGHT was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting in and causing severe interference to SUPER SALONI (S John) on his inside passing the 900 Metres.

Jockey P. Kiran Rai, the rider of GAGAN STAR was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting in and causing interference to the horses on his inside viz. ISLE OF FIRE (iIrvan Singh), MIDTOWN DELIGHT (S. Shivakumar) and SUPER SALONI (S. John) approaching the 300 Metres.

It was reported after the race that PRINCE OF DARKNESS (M. Prabhakaran) pulled up lame on left fore due to sprained fetlock joint. Trainer Mr. F. Sirajuddin was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

SOVIET MELODY (B. Nayak) sustained a cut injury on right hind pastern.
