As Jockey D. Gnaneshwar, was certified medically unfit to ride, permission was granted to Trainer Mr. Mahmood Khan to substitute Jockey V.R. Jagadeesh to ride MISTER GREY in place of the declared rider.

Jockey A. Ashok Kumar, the rider of INDEPENDENCE DAY, was fined Rs.1,000/- for coming in and causing interference to FREE CHOICE (P. Ramesh) on his inside soon after jumping out of the starting gates.

Srinath) gets hampered by the winner and in turn hampers COURT DANCER where I lost position by 2 lengths and travelled 4 wide off the fence because of the interference and into the straight the winner comes into right causing me to lose momentum which cost me a certain race" The Stewards held an enquiry immediately after the race and examined the jockeys David Allan, Imran Chisty and Y.S. Srinath concerned. After deliberations they decided to overrule the objection.

MAGNETIZE (Mudassar Nazar) sustained a cut injury on right hind pastern.
