SUPER SALONI(B. Mahesh) was examined by the Club’s Veterinary Officer at the starting gates and was found to have splayed its right hind shoe. As it could not be reshod it was permitted to be withdrawn before coming under Starter’s order.

Jockey P. Kiran Rai, the rider of SOVIET MELODY, reported that his mount was hanging out after entering the straight.  The horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.  However, Trainer Mr. S. Britto was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

Jockey Arshad Alam, the rider of FIORITTA, placed 2^nd by the Judge objected against Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of CLUELESS  placed First for “in the last 400 Metres CLUELESS came on to him and closed the gap and in the 100 Metres CLUELESS shifted course and whereby my filly shied away which cost me a certain race”.  The Stewards held an enquiry immediately after the race and examined the Jockeys concerned.  After deliberations they decided to overrule the objection.

Jockey Ch K Chary, the rider of THE FIRST BULLET was fined Rs.1,000/- for not maintaining a straight course in the final 100 Metres of the race.

Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of CLUELESS, was fined Rs.3,000/- for not maintaining a straight course thereby causing interference to AFFRIKAH (Ryan Marshall) in the final 50 Metres of the race.

It was reported after the race that AFFRIKAH (Ryan Marshall) pulled up lame on left fore.  Trainer Mr. Arjun Mangalorkar was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
