Jockey Suraj Narredu, the rider of WINDSOR FOREST, placed 3rd by the judge objected against Jockey P. Trevor, the rider of ROMANTIC STAR, placed 2nd for “In the last 300 Meters ROMANTIC STAR started drifting inside and took my ground, whereby my filly clipped, stumbled and lost considerable ground which cost me a certain second place”.  The Stewards held an enquiry immediately after the race and interviewed the Jockeys concerned. After deliberations, they decided to overrule the objection.
 
Jockey Neeraj Rawal, the rider of MANIFOLD was fined Rs.3,000/- for not maintaining a straight course, in the last 200 Meters of the Race.
An enquiry is being held into the non compliance by Trainer Mr. S.Padmanabhan of the directions of the Club's Veterinary Officers pertaining to routine examination of the mouth of his charge ROMANTIC STAR, after the above Race.

Compulsory samples were taken for analysis from the following I,II & III placed horses viz:
