It was observed that ANIMAL QUEEN (Suraj Narredu) was running green after entering the straight thereby inconvenienced INVICTA (Akshay Kumar) on its outside passing the 350 Metres.

Jockey T. S. Jodha, the rider of COSMIC FEELING reported that his mount was running green after entering the straight.

Trainer Mr. Prasanna Kumar and Jockey Akshay Kumar were questioned regarding running and riding of INVICTA in the above race. The trainer stated that he asked the Jockey to sit second, third, fourth, the horse does not have initial speed, after entering the straight ride him out and the Jockey did his best except that he gets inconvenienced a little bit on the outside and he also stated that he was very much satisfied with the running and riding of the horse. The Jockey corroborated the statement of trainer and said the pace was slow and he was taken wide by other horses in the straight. Their explanations were noted for future reference. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination. On examination, it was found (a) lame on left fore and (b) mucus in trachea. Trainer was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

It was observed that blanket on COSMIC FEELING was found dangling on the horse soon after the start of the race which consequently fell off on the track within the first 50 Metres of the start. Trainer Mr. Neil Darashah and The Starter were questioned regarding the incident. Thereafter, trainer Mr. Neil Darshah was fined Rs.10,000/- for not obtaining permission as regards use of blanket.Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner dk b g TONYS PET.
