Permission was granted to Trainer Mr.Faraz Arshad to withdraw HUKUM (Mohammed Aliyar) on veterinary grounds as it was found to be walking lame on right hind. He was informed to produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
 
GRIFFIN (L. Alex Rozario) was slowly away and lost few lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr.Irfan Ghatala was informed not to accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in a jump out on a starting gate practice day.

Jockey Arul J.H, the rider of LUCKY CHANCE was fined Rs.1,000/- for shifting 'in' and tightening TACTICAL COMMAND (S. John) on his inside passing the 450 Metres.

Trainer Mr. S.S. Attaollahi and Jockey P. Trevor were questioned regarding the poor performance of DE VILLIERS. The Jockey stated that he was asked to ride his own race and do his best in the straight. However, his mount stopped galloping in the last 250 Metres of the race and he also thought that his mount may have burst its blood vessels. The trainer stated that his charge was running after a very long layoff, carrying top weight in the above class for the first time and he could not attribute any other specific reason for its poor performance. Their explanations were noted for future reference and the horse was impounded for veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported.
