As Jockey Y.S. Srinath was certified medically unfit to ride. Permission was granted to Trainer Mr. S.S. Attaollahi to declare Jockey Hindu Singh to ride THE SOVEREIGN ORB in place of the declared rider.

Trainer Mr. Neil Darashah was fined Rs.5,000/- for discrepancy in shoeing in respect of his charge COOL RIDER (P. S. Chouhan) (1st infringement).

Compulsory urine and blood samples were taken for analysis from the following I,II & III placed horses viz:
