It was reported by the Club’s Veterinary Officer that GOLD FAME (Abdul Fazal) sustained multiple injuries on right knee and both hock after a fall in the saddling enclosure. Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds. Trainer Mr. James Mckeown was informed to produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

MAYBACH (D. Patel) reared up as the gates opened, totally unbalancing the rider, whereby the rider lost both the stirrups, which he regained approaching    1000    Metres. In    view    of    its    behaviour,     Trainer Mr. S. Dominic was informed not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in at least one Mock Race.

On examination, it was found to have burst its blood vessels. Trainer Mr. S. Inayathulla was informed to produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.
