Racing Incidents

The Club's Veterinary Officer reported that DOUGLAS (Siddaraju.P) had cooling gel pads on both fore limbs in the saddling enclosure. Therefore, DOUGLAS (Siddaraju.P) was permitted to be withdrawn as it was a prohibited practice by the trainer (Cooling treatment - use of ice or ice pack or cold water therapy on a horse not permitted within 2 hours prior to the scheduled starting time of the race). Hence, Trainer Mr. Neil B Devaney was fined Rs.10,000/- for his negligence discharge of his duties as a trainer, thereby contravening Rule No. 114 (b) (i) of the B.T.C. Rules of Racing.

PHILOSOPHY (Neeraj Rawal) was slowly away and lost few lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr.Imtiaz Khan was informed not to accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in a jump out on a starting gate practice day.

GALAHAD (Akshay Kumar) sustained superficial injury on the right stifle. Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner gr r GALAHAD.
