Jockey S. Saqlain, the rider of DOUBLE VISION reported that his mount was hanging 'in' after entering the straight. The horse was subjected to veterinary examination but no abnormality was reported. However, Trainer Mr. M. Rajendra Singh was informed to take appropriate corrective measures before accepting with it again.

Jockey A.R.Pradeep, the rider of FIREFINCH reported that he accidently lost his whip approaching 300 Meters.

An enquiry was held by the Stipendiary Steward into the interference caused by Jockey Rajesh Kumar.M, the rider of ELITE AGENT in the above race. In that he shifted “in” sharply and caused severe interference to the horses on his inside viz; DOUBLE VISION (S.Saqlain), ESTEFANIA (Antony Raj S.), FIREFINCH(A.R.Pradeep), CRIMSON STAR (Vivek) and ALTAMONTE (V.R.Jagadeesh) approaching 1300 Metres.

Jockey Rajesh Kumar.M was interviewed by the Stipendiary Steward. The Stipendiary Steward after considering the submissions made by Jockey Rajesh Kumar.M and after viewing the CCTV replay decided to charge Jockey Rajesh Kumar.M for Careless Riding.

The Stipendiary Steward thereafter suspended the Jockey’s Licence granted to Rajesh Kumar.M with effect from 4/12/2023 to 30/12/2023 (Both days inclusive) as he had pleaded guilty of the charge under Rule No. 161 (i) of the BTC Rules of Racing for Careless Riding on his mount ELITE AGENT (he was permitted to ride work) and was informed of his right to appeal.
