As Jockey Vivek.G was certified medically unfit to ride. Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Prasanna Kumar to declare Jockey P. Sai Kumar to ride NEVADA GOLD in place of the declared rider.

It was observed that the saddle on ANADALE (L. Alex Rozario) had shifted forward at about 1300 Metres, in the process he inconvenienced DOUBLE SCOTCH (Rayan Ahmed R.) approaching 1100 Metres, as Jockey L. Alex Rozario had lost balance he had to remove his right stirrup passing the 800 Metres, which he regained approaching 500 Metres. Hence, Trainer Mr. Irfan Ghatala was fined Rs.3,000/- for faulty saddling of his charge.

SIR TRISTAN (Vinod Shinde) ran detached from the field. Trainer Mr. Arjun Mangalorkar was informed to ensure better performance of his charge in future.

An enquiry was held by the Stipendiary Steward into the interference caused by Jockey Y. S. Srinath, the rider of MAGNUS in the above race. In that “he shifted ‘in’ sharply and caused severe interference to the horses on his inside viz; SNOWPIERCER (Akshay Kumar), IRISH ROCKSTAR (S. Saqlain) and BRAVE MAJESTY (Darshan R.N) before passing the red marker post and Jockey Y. S. Srinath did not take any corrective measures.

Jockey Y. S. Srinath was interviewed by the Stipendiary Steward. The Stipendiary Steward after considering the submissions made by Jockey Y. S. Srinath and after viewing the CCTV replay decided to charge Jockey Y. S. Srinath for Careless Riding.
 
The Stipendiary Steward thereafter suspended the Jockey’s Licence granted to Y. S. Srinath with effect from 12/12/2023 to 22/12/2023 (Both days inclusive) even though he did not pleaded guilty to the charge under Rule No. 161 (i) of the BTC Rules of Racing for Careless Riding on his mount MAGNUS (he was permitted to ride work) and was informed of his right to appeal.
