Trainer Mr. Neil B Devaney was fined Rs.5,000/- for not obtaining prior permission with regards to his charge MAZAL TOV to race without Basket Bit. Subsequently, permission was granted to him to run his charge without Basket Bit.

As Jockey Ram Nandan Manjhi was certified medically unfit to ride. Permission was granted to trainer Mr. Aravind G. to declare Jockey L. Alex Rozario to ride SERAI in place of the declared rider.

MARZGOVEL (F. Norton) dropped the rider on the way to the starting gates, ran rider less, completed the course and was exhausted. Under the circumstances, it was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter's order.

Jockey Y. S. Srinath, the rider of MAZAL TOV was fined Rs.2,000/- for shifting 'in' and tightening RICARDO (Antony Raj S.), which in turn passed it onto IMPIANA (V.R.Jagadeesh) along the rails approaching 200 Metres.

At the behest of the Stipendiary Stewards, the stewards held an enquiry immediately after the race and enquired into the fall of Jockey Vivek. G, the rider of IN THY LIGHT (the interference caused by Jockey Antony Raj.S, the rider of RICARDO) at the start of the race and approaching 1200 Metres. The Stewards examined Jockey Antony Raj.S (RICARDO), V.R. Jagadeesh (IMPIANA) and Shamaz Shareef (MAROON). After detailed deliberations, they decided to disqualify RICARDO which had placed 3rd in the above race and the revised order of placings are as under:-

An enquiry is being held into the manner of riding by Jockey Antony Raj.S, the rider of RICARDO, wherein he was not alert at the start and shifted ‘in’ & caused severe interference to MAROON (Shamaz Shareef), which in turn passed it onto IN THY LIGHT (Vivek. G), further he shifted ‘in’ and caused interference to IN THY LIGHT (Vivek. G) approaching 1200 Metres, whereby IN THY LIGHT struck the front runner RICARDO (Antony Raj.S), whereby Jockey Vivek. G was totally unbalanced and was unseated from his mount IN THY LIGHT which ran rider less thereafter.

It was reported after the race that RICARDO (Antony Raj S.) pulled up lame on right fore and sustained superficial injury on right fore bulb. Trainer Mr.Arjun Mangalorkar was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

It was reported after the race that IN THY LIGHT (Vivek.G) pulled up lame on left hind. Trainer Mr.Prasanna Kumar was informed that he must produce a Fitness Certificate from the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

STELLANTIS (P. Trevor) sustained superficial injury on right gaskin. Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner b c STELLANTIS.
