Racing Incidents

ARMORY (Angad) reared up as the gates opened and lost few lengths at the start. In view of its behaviour, Trainer Mr. Narayana Gowda V. was informed not to accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards in a jump out on a starting gate practice day.

Jockey Darshan R.N, the rider of STELLAR GOLD was fined Rs.5,000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (2nd infringement).

Jockey Imran Chisty, the rider of BRUCE ALMIGHTY reported that his instructions were to ride from 1st /2nd position but even after urging his mount could not take a forward position and he added that his mount lugging out in the final 150 Metres. The horse was subjected to veterinary examination. On examination the Club's Veterinary Officer reported that it was found to have sharp molars. Hence Trainer Mr. Faraz Arshad was fined Rs.3,000/- for his negligence(1st infringement).
