COUNTRY’S GOLD was permitted to be withdrawn on Veterinary grounds (lame on right hind). Trainer B.L.Mohan was advised to get his charge certified fit by the Club’s Senior Veterinary officer before accepting with it again.

Jockey Md.Farhan Alam being indisposed, he was permitted to be substituted by Jockey S.Stephan Raj on ORLANDO BABY.

ST.ELMO’S FIRE (P.Trevor) was slow to start losing about 5 to 6 lengths, SSC Revoked.

EXCELLENT PHANTOM (Saddam Hussain) and FLYING EXPECTATION (K.V.Baskar) were slow to start losing about 2 to 3 lengths each, SSCs Revoked. Trainer Fazal-Ul-Rehman and Trainer J.Sebastian were advised to show their respective charges in a Mock race to the Starter’s satisfaction before accepting with them again.

Trainer A.Rahmathullah was questioned regarding the improved performance of his charge STELLENBOSCH (Janardhan Paswan) in this race as compared to his previous run in Race no.115 run on 11th January i.e within a period of 2 weeks. He was informed that his horse in the previous run had finished 7th, about 12 and 1/2 lengths behind the winner.

Trainer A.Rahmathullah stated that Race no.115 was 1400 metres and this race was 1200 metres.
Since he had no satisfactory explanation he was fined a sum of Rs.10,000/- for reversal of form in a short span of time and was severely cautioned for future.
