Racing Incidents

Horse No.6 AUTONOMOUS (G.Manikandan) was permitted to be withdrawn as a suitable replacement for Jockey G.Manikandan was unavailable.

RACHEL GREENE (A.Ayaz Khan) was slow to start losing about 2 lengths.

GREEN GROVE (C.A.Brisson) was slow to start losing about 3 lengths at the start.

VALUABLE BOY (N.Murugan) was observed to be hanging out for major part of the race and at the bend in trying to control his mount Jockey N.Murugan had to check his mount to save the interference to OVER LORD who was travelling on his outside at that stage.  Senior Veterinary officer was asked to examine the horse after the race who reported that VALUABLE BOY had sharp molars on both jaws. Trainer J.Sebastian has been fined a sum of Rs.3,000/- for his negligence.

An enquiry has been opened into the running and riding of TWO OCEANS ridden by Jockey Zulquar Nain and trained by Mr. A.D’Silver.
