DEBUT TOUCH (Md.Farhan Alam) was observed to trail the field. Senior Veterinary Officer was asked to examine the gelding, who reported that the gelding pulled up lame on its left hind. Trainer Saddam Iqbal was advised to get his charge certified fit by the Club’s Senior Veterinary Officer before accepting with it again.

Trainer P.Krishna and Jockey Arshad Alam were questioned regarding the running and riding of LADY LOVE. Jockey Arshad Alam stated that he was instructed to hit the front and if someone chases to sit 2nd or 3rd, in the early part he had to ride out his mount to get to the front, thereafter to maintain position he had to niggle his mount and entering the straight he had ridden out. Trainer P.Krishna when questioned stated that the jockey should have given a breather in the early stages of the race, other than that he took no objection to the jockeys riding. Jockey Arshad Alam responded that his mount was not keen in the early stages and therefore he had to keep at her to get to the front, after hitting the front she was not dropping but did not show any keenness either, therefore keeping in mind that it was a no whips race he decided to maintain position and keep pushing.

Jockey Arshad Alam was informed that if he had given a breather to his mount between 1100 mtrs to 400 mtrs she would have run better, however considering the filly was running a 1400 mtrs race for the first time he was being given the benefit of doubt for his incompetent riding.
