Racing Incidents

Apprentice Jockey L.Kamigallu being indisposed he was permitted to be substituted by apprentice Jockey C.P.Khanal on ORLA.

Permission was granted to Trainer Saddam Iqbal to saddle SUMMER STORM (Md.Hesnain)
and SPRINKLER(Kishore Kadam) on behalf of Trainer G.S.Parmar at both trainer’s risk and liability.

OLE (Zulquar Nain) was slow to start losing about 3 lengths and thereafter swerved out losing considerable ground.

ORLA (C.P.Khanal) jumped out awkwardly and threw its head up.

Apprentice Jockey A.M.Alam the rider of CLASSY LASSY was severely cautioned for allowing his mount to shift out at about 200 metres inconveniencing SUMMER STORM (Md.Hesnain) and thereafter further shifting wide out and forcing out RHAPSIDION ROSE (Azfar Syeed) in the final stages of the race. The Senior Veterinary Officer was asked to examine the mare, who reported that the mare had sharp molars on both sides. Trainer J.Sebastian was fined a sum of Rs.3000/- for his negligence.
