HIGHLAND LIGHT (C.A.Brisson) was observed to hang in the final stages of the race wherein he shifted in and caused a check to STAR GUITAR (P.S.Chouhan) nearing the winning post.

An enquiry has been opened into the running and riding of DAZZLE AWAY ridden by Jockey Zulquar Nain and trained by Fazal-Ul-Rehman.

ENQUIRY INTO THE POSITIVE FINDING (Class-IV Drug,methylaminoantipyrine) FROM N.D.T.L.:NEW DELHI OF CHESTNUT HORSE 5 YEARS OLD, MENANDER, WINNER OF THE ABOVE RACE.
The Stewards of the Club at their meeting held on 16th February 2019 interviewed Trainer R.Karthik in respect to the above subject matter.

Trainer informed the Stewards that he and his Owner did not wish to send the split urine sample for confirmatory analysis. The Trainer was informed that as per medication Rule XI: “The trainer is always responsible for the protection and security of the horse in his care. Trainers are warned that they will be held responsible if on examination of a horse any prohibited substances are found” to which trainer accepted his responsibility.

The Stewards resolved to fine Trainer R.Karthik a sum of RS. 20000 as per the medication Rules of MRC this being a Class IV Drug, and further resolved to disqualify Chestnut horse 5 years old, MENANADER from the above race and declared the revised order of placing as under:
