Jockey R N Darshan, the rider of ROYAL CHIEFTAIN was fined a sum of Rs.5000/- for excessive use of the whip this being his second similar offence.

Trainer N. Rupa and Jockey C A Brisson were questioned regarding the running and riding of CAMILA , Trainer when questioned stated that her instructions were to sit 3rd or 4th  and ride out in the straight , also in her opinion the jockey could have made more efforts to correct his mount while entering the straight; Jockey when questioned confirmed the trainers instructions and further stated that his mount CAMILA was hanging out passing the 1100 metres and while negotiating the 600 metre bend drifted wide out despite his efforts. 

Jockey was asked to explain his riding while negotiating the bend as it was observed that he had made no efforts and had allowed his mount to shift out and has stopped riding about 150 metres before passing the post, jockey however stated that he had done his best. Not being satisfied with the explanation an enquiry has been opened into the running and riding of CAMILA.

REGAL TRIBUTE (A Ayaz Khan) was permitted to be withdrawn on Veterinary Grounds, Cellulitis- Both fore fetlocks. Trainer N. Rupa was asked to get her charge certified fit by the Club''s Veterinary Officer before next accepting with it.
