Racing Incidents

Jockey Akshay Kumar being indisposed he was permitted to be substituted by Jockey S Zervan on BLUE BLISS.

TOWNS END (Md  Farhan Alam) was slow to start losing about 2 lengths.

Trainer G. S. Parmar was fined a sum of Rs.3,000/- for using a Basket Bit on his charge EYES OF FALCON (R N Darshan) in place of a Dexter Ring Bit, equipment for which prior permission had not been obtained.

Jockey K Sai Kiran, the rider of BALLER was fined a sum of Rs.3000 for excessive and improper use of the whip.

Jockey S Zervan, the rider of BLUE BLISS reported that his mount lacked initial speed and hence he could not position himself better in the initial stages of the race.
ERTUGRUL (Ashhad Asbar) was observed to be hanging out negotiating the final bend and drfited wide out onto the outer railings despite Jockey's efforts. The horse having displayed similar behaviour in the past , Trainer Saddam Iqbal was asked to show his charge in a mock race to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards before next accepting with it.
