Permission was granted  to  Trainer  K.  S.  Mandanna  to  declare Jockey  V  R  Jagadeesh,  to  ride ANGAVAI in place of Jockey Mukesh Kumar who was indisposed and could not fulfill his riding engagements for the day.

ADMIRAL SHAW (T S Jodha) was trying to run out at the 800 metres and was observed to run green for major part of the race. Trainer J.Sebastian was informed to take remedial measures before next accepting with his charge.

An objection was lodged by Jockey Yash Narredu, the rider of BE CALM placed second by the judge against Jockey V R Jagadeesh, the rider of ANGAVAI placed first by the judge for "Passing the 300 metres,when my horse came into rythym, jockey of the winner horse bumped me, and my horse lost complete stride. He took my ground thereafter upto the winning post,bumped me twice in the last 50 metres.I had to check which cost me a race."  The  Stewards  interviewed  both  the Jockeys' and after viewing the cctv replay of the race several times decided to uphold the objection and revised the order of placings as follows:

No 6    BE CALM    (Yash Narredu)    -    1st
No 4    ANGAVAI    (V R Jagadeesh)    -    2nd
No 10    FIERY RED    (C S Jodha)    -    3rd
No 11    GREAT SPIRIT    (M Bhaskar)    -    4th

Further Jockey V R Jagadeesh, the rider of ANGAVAI was fined a sum of Rs.3000/- for shifting out bumping and forcing out BE CALM (Yash Narredu) at the 300 metres.

Compulsory sample was taken for analysis from BABU VAMSEE (Gaurav Singh). Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the winner BE CALM (Yash Narredu).
