Racing Incidents

BHAIRAVA’S QUEEN (Dharshan Antony) was permitted to be withdrawn on veterinary grounds as the mare was suffering from acute saddle sore. Trainer N. Govindarajan was informed to get his charge certified fit by the Club's Veterinary Officer before next accepting with her.

Trainer G. S. Parmar was fined a sum of Rs.2000/- for parading his charge HARAN (P.S.Kaviraj) without sheep skin side cheek piece in the paddock. The equipment was subsequently put on the gelding before it left the paddock.

WELCOME CHAKKARAM (P.Sai Kumar) was slowly off and had to be brushed to catch up with the field and thereafter was observed to be lugging in from the 500 metres till passing the winning post.Trainer K. S. Mandanna was advised to take remedial measures. The Club's Veterinary Officer when asked to examine the gelding reported after the race that he was found to have bit sores on Right commissure.

PLATINI (Khet Singh) ran detached. Trainer Ramanathan R was informed to ensure his charge was capable of running with the field before next accepting with him. The Club's Veterinary Officer reported that the gelding had lost left fore shoe during the race.

FANTASTIC HIT (P Kiran Rai) dropped back entering the straight and ran detached.

The Club's Veterinary Officer reported after the race that LADY BLAZER (Shrikant Kamble) had sustained superficial injury on Right hind fetlock.
