Jockey A Ayaz Khan, the rider of CUBAN PETE was reported to the Stewards.

The Stewards after the last race   questioned   Jockey A   Ayaz   Khan,   the   rider   of CUBAN PETE drawn 5. The replay of the race was shown on various angles when the start was effected before the red marker. The Chief Stipendiary Steward explained the interference caused by Jockey A Ayaz Khan, the rider of CUBAN PETE who caused severe interference to favourite SHEER ROCKS (C Umesh) drawn 2 who had to check and drop back losing his position. Jockey A Ayaz Khan, the rider of CUBAN PETE accepted his fault and didn’t have anything to say in the matter. The Stewards deliberated the matter and decided to charge Jockey A Ayaz Khan, the rider of CUBAN PETE for improper riding on his mount CUBAN PETE in consultation with the Chief Stipendiary Steward. and suspend him for 2 race days and impose a fine of Rs 15,000/-.

Jockey A Ayaz Khan, was informed about the punishment and asked whether he would go on appeal against the punishment meted out to him for which he replied that he accepted his fault for interfering with the favourite and apologised for the same. He was warned to be more careful on his mounts in his future riding engagements. As such Jockey A Ayaz Khan has been suspended for both days,13th &14th October 2023.He is permitted to ride work.

The Club's Veterinary Officer reported after the race that KING SUN ( App-K.G.Likith Appu) was suffering from sore back. Trainer K. S. Mandanna was informed to get his charge certified fit by the Club's Veterinary Officer before accepting next to race.

The   Club's   Veterinary   Officer   reported   after   the   race   that   KNOTTY WONDER (App Koshi Kumar) had sustained superficial injury on left hind tendon.

Surprise sample was taken for analysis from DAZZLING PRINCESS (Vivek G).

Routine Sample was taken for analysis from the  winner SOFT  WHISPER (Ram Nandan Manjhi).
