Racing Incidents
Trainer Sangeet Charan and Jockey Suresh Kumar were called in and questioned regarding running and riding of TRUSTED FRIEND As it was felt that Jockey Suresh Kumar had ridden in an unsatisfactory manner, especially in the straight where he whipped his mount excessively and drifted out thereby loosingthe race. When questioned Trainer Sangeet Charan he stated that he was not happy with the riding . When asked why he had not reported the same, he did not have any plausible explanation to offer. On questioning the jockey he confirmed the instructions and to a specific question being asked he said that his trainer was not satisfied with his ride . Not being satisfied with their explanations they were directed to appear before the Stewards.
