Racing Incidents
An objection was lodged by Jockey G S Shekhawat the rider of ASHWA PADDMA placed second by the Judge against Jockey Rajinder the rider of TAKE A CHANCE placed first by the Judge on the alleged grounds “ that when his mount was galloping through the fence, TAKE A CHANCE suddenly shifted in causing his mount to get disturbed between 300 mts and 200 mts . After that he had to change his course and mount responded well but failed narrowly and that cost him a certain race”. The Stewards held an enquiry immediately after the race and interviewed the Jockeys concerned and considering the recommendations of the Stipendiary Stewards and relying upon their own observations after watching the replay from all angles the Stewards were of the view that the objection should be overruled and ordered the Security deposit to be refunded.
