Racing Incidents
SENEGAL (Sameer Khan) planted at the starting gate and lost sufficient grounds. In view of its behaviour Trainer Mr. Magan Singh was informed that he must not accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Steward in one mock race on a race day. Trainer Mr. Magan Singh & Jockey K. Narender Kumar were questioned regarding the running and riding of BUDDY BROTHERS . The Trainer stated that he had instructed the Jockey to take good jump sit 4nd/5rd and do his best in the straight and he also instructed the jockey to use of the whip only to tap the horse as it resents the whip. The jockey when questioned regarding riding contrary to the trainers instructions informed that at the initial stage of the race his mount lacked speed and thereafter he rode upto his calibre. Not being satisfied with the explanation tendered by Jockey K. Narender Kumar he was fined Rs.5,000/- for not following the trainer’s instruction with respect to riding of his mount BUDDY BROTHERS.
