Racing Incidents

App.Jockey Bhanu Partap Singh the rider of  CRYSTAL PISTOL was severely reprimanded for failing to control over his mount thereby allowing it to drift in and bump into MAGICAL FAIRY( Gurpreet Singh) soon after jumping out of the starting gates.

Jockey K.Sunny Kumar the rider of TARANGIRE  was fined Rs.1000/- for  not maintaining a straight course soon after jumping out of the starting gates.

Jockey K.Sunny Kumar the rider of TARANGIRE was fined Rs.1000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race.(1st offence during the meeting)

Trainer  Mr.I.S.Parmar was questioned regarding the improved performance of his charge FOREST MUSIC as compared to its last run in race No.33 THE BANERGHATTA PLATE.DIV.II. FOR INDIAN HORSES RATED 1-26 (ABT) 1000 MTS ran  on 5th October,2011 where it was unplaced.

Trainer stated that :-

  1.    His charge got a regular habit of being left off in the gates and loosing substantial grounds, today it behaved in the same fashion in the above race but lost lesser grounds.
  2.     This time it had to travel 100 meters extra and was ridden by a superior jockey .

Hence in his opinion these could be the factors contributing to today’s improved performance. However while noting his explanation, he was warned and reminded of the rules governing “in and out running”.
