GOMTI (Pawan Sharma) was fractious reared up on the way to the starting gate dislodging its rider, galloped back to winning post as such was withdrawn before coming under starter’s orders.

STUNNING VIEW (D.Kumar) was  fractious and refused to be loaded as such it was withdrawn before coming under Starter’s orders.

At the behest of the Stipendiary Steward the Stewards ordered and held an enquiry into the running of the race and in particular HOT AND CLASSIC  (Shafeeq Ahmed – drawn 8) having its head into the barrier stall of  right side when the start was effected and thereafter jumped out awkwardly dislodging the rider.  The Stewards examined  App. Jockey Shafeeq Ahmed (drawn – 8), Jockey Gurpreet Singh (drawn – 5),  Jockey Sameer Khan (drawn – 9) and the Starter. The Stewards viewed the CCTV replay of the race and taking into the evidence presented during the enquiry by the

Jockeys concerned and the Starter, considering the opinion expressed by the Stipendiary Steward, the Stewards were of the opinion that  HOT AND CLASSIC did not get a fair start . Therefore the stewards after deliberation decided as under :-

i) To declare HOT AND CLASSIC as a NON-STARTER under RWITC Rules of Racing 31 (a)

ii) To declare bets with any totalizator pools  and also bets with bookmakers on HOT AND CLASSIC  “NULL & VOID” under RWITC Rules of Racing 31 (b).

iii) Directed the Stipendiary Steward to conduct a detail enquiry into the running of the race with particular reference to HOT AND CLASSIC  (Shafeeq Ahmed – drawn 8) having its head into the barrier stall of the right side when the start was effected and thereafter jumped out awkwardly dislodging the rider and to review wagering records.

An enquiry is being opened into the inconsistent pattern of running and improved performance of  TRUSTED MAN as compared to its last run in Race No.82 THE FIRST SPEECH PLATE.DIV.I.FOR INDIAN HORSES RATED 1-26 (ABT) 1000 MTS (12  RUNNERS) ran on 10^th November, 2011 when ridden by jockey Suresh Kumar it was unplaced.

TAPITSFLY (G.S.Shekhawat) stood flat footed, refused to jump and did not take practical part in the race. In view of its unpredictable behavior Trainer R S Shekhawat was informed  not to accept with it again until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Steward in one mock races on a race day on the race track.

In consequence GOMTI & STUNNNIG VIEW being withdrawn before coming under Starter’s orders a deduction of  50 % on win and 50% on place on the all bets accepted before the announcement of withdrawal was made and a deduction of 30% on win and 50% on place  bets was effected in view of HOT AND CLASSIC being withdrawn.
