Racing Incidents

Trainer Mr.I.S.Parmar and Jockey C S Jodha were questioned regarding the behaviour of KOHINOOR BEAUTY whereby as the start was effected it did not jumped out and lost sufficient ground at the start. The replay was viewed several times prior to “weigh in” signal being given. It was noted that KOHINOOR BEAUTY had stood flat footed as the start was given .When questioned Jockey C S Jodha stated that  he had attempted to encourage his horse prior to the gates being opening in and endeavour to get KOHINOOR BEAUTY to jump. However once the gates opened, KOHINOOR BEAUTY stood flat footed.  Jockey  C S Jodha was advised that he must make more positive effort to get his horse to jump in similar circumstances in future. Trainer Mr.I.S.Parmar was informed not to accept with his charge until its behavior improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Steward in one mock race on a race day on race track.

Jockey C S Jodha (KOHINOOR BEAUTY) was severely reprimanded for traveling wide in the straight for no apparent reason.
