At the behest of the Stipendiary Steward a Stewards enquiry was called into  the report  from the Clerk of the Scales that Jockey Ramandeep Singh Bal the rider of  FASCINATING MEMORY  placed 4^th   by the Judge failed to “weigh in” .The Stewards held an enquiry immediately after the  race and interviewed  Jockey Ramandeep Singh Bal  and Clerk of the Scales and after hearing their statements, and considering the opinion expressed by the Stipendiary Steward and after due deliberations the Stewards decided to disqualify FASCINATING MEMORY from the above race  and revised the order of placings as under:-

SARVAMANGALA   -   FIRST

 FUEL  - SECOND

YAKUT-THIRD

 STEEL FORCE  - FOURTH

Jockey Ramandeep Singh Bal was directed to appear before the  Stewards after the last race. The Stewards interviewed Jockey  Ramandeep Singh Bal.

After hearing his statement, considering the report of the Stipendiary Steward and his recommendation Stewards were not satisfied with the explanation tendered by Jockey Ramandeep Singh Bal and the Stewards after deliberations  decided to fine Jockey Ramandeep Singh Bal a sum of Rs.10000/- for failing to “weigh in “ thereby contravening Rule No 178 (a) of the RWITC Rules of Racing.

An enquiry has been opened into the running and riding of YAKUT Trained by Mr.Rajinder and ridden by Jockey K.Narender Kumar.

YAKUT was impounded for veterinary examination and the Veterinary Officer reported no apparent abnormality.

The Club’s Veterinary Officer reported that FASCINATING MEMORY (Ramandeep Singh Bal ) was observed to have burst its blood vessel during the race. As per the Calendar Notification the horse has been stopped from racing for a stipulated period of 4 weeks (1^st time bleeder). Trainer  Mr.I.S.Parmar informed not to accept with it again until passed fit by the Club’s Veterinary Officer.
