Racing Incidents

Jockey Mohanlal, the rider of PRETTY GOOD was questioned regarding his riding on his mount who stated that he was instructed to go to the front but his horse threw its head up, and also stated that  earlier in Race No 42 also his mount behaved in a similar manner was  confirmed by Trainer Mr.A.Khan. As such trainer A.Khan was informed to take remedial measures and show his charge in gate practice before accepting in a race.

Jockey D S Rathore the rider of MASTER SHUB SHUBH was fined Rs.2000/- for not riding out to full advantage almost throughout the race.  MASTER SHUB SHUBH was impounded for veterinary examination and the Veterinary Officer certified no apparent abnormality.

Trainer Mr.S.Nawab was fined Rs.1000/- for sending his charge SULTAN AYUBI to the starting gates with “Tongue Strap” ON for which no prior permission was obtained, subsequently “Tongue Strap” was removed at the gates.                                 

Urine sample was taken for analysis from the winner GRACEFUL BAY in the presence of Trainer Mr.H.Ali Khan and sent for Analytical test.
