Racing Incidents

Permission was granted to Trainer Mr.Ajay Sharma to substitute Jockey Dilip Singh to ride FEARLESS NEGOTIATOR  in place of Jockey Pawan Sharma who was reported unfit to ride by the Club’s Medical Officer.

An objection was lodged by Jockey D.S. Rathore ,the rider of ASHWA PARWEZ against Jockey S.A. Shah the rider of STEEL FORCE for “coming on to me after the jump out giving me a severe bump due to which my horse got totally unbalanced and broke it strides therefore I could not ride out proper initially and that cost me a certain place”.

Jockey R. Parvesh, rider of MIDNIGHT SPECIAL was called in and questioned about his careless riding in that soon after the jump out he continued to shift in crowding and causing interference to STEEL FORCE (S.A. Shah) and FLEET OF FEET (Shadab Khan).  Not being satisfied with his explanation, he was reported to the Stewards after the race who after reviewing the replay of the race and considering the recommendation of the Stipendiary Steward resolved to fine him Rs.10,000/- for the careless riding contravening Rule No 161 (i),RWITC Rules of Racing.

Jockey S.A. Shah, rider of STEEL FORCE was fined Rs.1000/- for excessive use of whip (First offence).
