An objection was lodged by Jockey Sameer Khan the rider of TRUSTED MAN placed second by the Judge against Jockey T.S Jodha  the rider of ASSERTIVE  placed first by the Judge for “ from 250  mts T S Jodha bumped me thrice and blocked  me continuously upto the last 25 mts whereby I could not ride out, which cost me  a certain race”. The Stewards held an enquiry immediately after the race interviewed the Jockeys concerned and after deliberations, considering the opinion expressed by the Stipendiary Steward and based on the observation of the race the Stewards were not satisfied that an alteration to the placings could  be justified. Therefore, they decided to overrule  the objection .The Security deposit ordered to be  refunded.

Jockey T S Jodha the rider of ASSERTIVE was reported to the Stewards after the last race for careless riding in that approaching 400 mts he abruptly veered in causing a severe check to ROSE ( Dhanu S Deora) further boring onto TRUSTED MAN (Sameer Khan) from 300 mts to the winning post. The Stewards deferred this to their next meeting.

The saddle used on ROSE ( Dhanu Singh Deora) slipped soon after the start placing the rider at a  disadvantage as such Trainer Mr.Magan Singh was fined Rs.2000/- for his negligence in the saddling of his charge.

The Club’s Veterinary Officer reported that ROSE was observed to have burst its blood vessel during the race. As per the Racing Calendar notification the horse has been stopped from racing for a stipulated period of 4 weeks (1^st  time bleeder) Trainer Mr Magan Singh  was informed not to accept with it again until passed fit by the Club’s Veterinary Officer.

THE ROCK was impounded for veterinary examination and the Club’s veterinary officer reported no apparent abnormality.
