An objection was lodged by Jockey C.S. Jodha the rider of MASTER CHENNA  placed fourth by the Judge against Jockey Sandeep Rajput the rider of SIMPLY DASHING placed third by the Judge for “Coming onto me at 200 meters tightening him for a room he had to stop the horse and bring him out which cost him a lot of ground and that cost him a certain place.”

The Stewards held an enquiry immediately after the race interviewed the Jockeys concerned and after deliberations, considering the opinion expressed by the Stipendiary Steward and based on the observation of the race the Stewards were not satisfied that an alteration to the placings could be justified.  Therefore, they decided to overrule the objection.  The Security Deposit was ordered to be forfeited under Rule No.192(iv), Rules of Racing  RWITC. 

Trainer Chandrapal Singh was fined Rs.2000/- for running his charge MISS FERRARI with a wrong coloured cap. It was conveyed that a far more severe action shall be taken if repeated.
