Jockey M I Qureshi the rider of GREEN RIBBON was called in and questioned about his riding who stated that he was instructed to go to the front or sit 2^nd/3^rd which he could not do so as he got crowded soon after the start thereafter made every effort to improve his lost ground and had to perforce  travel wide in the straight as such finished close 6^th. On questioning Trainer S H Abbas of the opinion that carrying the top weight of 58.5 kgs might have been to his charges disadvantage was noted.

At the request of the Stipendiary Steward, the Stewards directed the Veterinary Officer to take the urine sample of GREEN RIBBON for analysis. Subsequently, the Club’s Veterinary Officer reported that  GREEN RIBBON did not pass urine for more than 5 hours post race which is the maximum stipulated time for collection of post race urine sample as per RWITC Racing Calendar Notification. Hence the sampling was abandoned. Trainer S.H.Abbas was  advised to take remedial measures by giving proper training to the horse to avoid any further repetition.

The Club’s Veterinary Officer reported ANJIR( Sameer Khan)  sustained a  fracture on left hind (pastern). Hence it was euthanized on humanitarian grounds.
