A Stewards enquiry was opened into the running and riding of MASTER BALE Trained by I S Parmar and ridden by Jockey Hashim Ali Khan.

The Stewards questioned both the trainer and the jockey concerned and after hearing their statements, considering the opinion expressed by the Stipendiary Steward and in their opinion an emergency had arisen involving risk of injury to any person and property, the Stewards in their absolute discretion decided to declare the race NULL and VOID under RWITC Rules of Racing and further directed the Stipendiary Steward to delve into the case and report his findings before them at their next meeting.

MASTER BALE was impounded for veterinary examination and the Club’s Veterinary Officer reported that there was no apparent abnormality.
